I was watching a documentary the other day about women in the 1950's and I was shocked to learn that they would spend over 75 hours a week doing the housework! Fortunately, nowadays there are all sorts of gadgets that make it easier to cook, clean and do the laundry - but then sometimes nothing does it better and quicker than a good old fashioned brush and pan. And now that Tala (the home of traditional cooking ware) has brought out this Utility range in vintage colours, I am actually tempted to do a bit of cleaning (note: I did say "a bit").
