the real pea
Early this week we started sharing idea for our Princess and the Pea Party, and today is my favourite idea of all. The best part about making your child's party a fairytale brought to life is that you can read an abridged story to the guests as one of your activities. Children love story time, and by having an animated retelling of the story it puts everyone in the mood for the party; and is a thoughtful touch for those little ones who may not have heard the story before.
Today, we have a little free downloadable story of the Princess and the Pea for you to use for the party - or print it today and read it to your child tonight! And as you can see below my favourite party idea is our party's table centrepiece inspired by the last line of the story - a tribute to the pea in the museum! (Easily created by using an old jewellery box, a green bubble bath filled ball and a glass dome and cake stand.).
